Help for GeoProof — the GPS timestamp camera that burns location, address, date and time into the photo itself.
Getting started
- Allow camera and location when asked. Without location there is nothing to stamp.
- Pick the chip that matches your job: Delivery, Cargo, Property, Vehicle, Site, Visit, or General.
- Open Settings and fill the reference field — it is renamed for the job you picked (Order / Tracking No, Container / AWB, Plate / Rental No, and so on).
- Wait for the pill at the top to say Location ready, then shoot.
The stamp says "Locating" and never changes
Location permission is missing, location services are off system-wide, or you are somewhere with no sky view. Check Android Settings ▸ Location, then reopen the app. Indoors and in underground car parks a fix can take a while or never arrive.
The address says "Address not found"
Address lookup needs an internet connection. Offline, the app still stamps coordinates, date, time and accuracy — only the street name and map thumbnail are missing. It can also happen in places OpenStreetMap does not have mapped in detail.
What does ± 5 m mean?
It is the accuracy your device reports for that fix. GeoProof shows it instead of hiding it, because a stamp that hides its own uncertainty is not proof of anything. A smaller number is a better fix.
The stamp covers too much of the photo
Switch the layout in Settings ▸ Format ▸ Stamp layout. Ribbon is the smallest. You can also turn individual fields off under Stamp fields.
Free limit
The free version keeps 20 shots in the gallery. Delete older ones to make room, or unlock PRO for an unlimited gallery.
I bought PRO but it is locked
Open the PRO sheet and tap Restore purchase. Make sure you are signed in to the same Google account that made the purchase. Purchases are tied to the Google account, not to the device.
Refunds
Purchases go through Google Play, so refunds are handled by Google. Request one from Google Play ▸ Order history, or through Google Play support.
Deleting your data
Everything is on your device. Delete individual shots from the gallery, use Delete all, or uninstall the app. See the data removal page.
Still stuck?
