Data Removal
Last updated: August 4, 2026
How to delete data associated with GeoProof.
The short version
GeoProof has no account and no server of ours. Every photo and every setting lives on your device only. We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing on our side to request the deletion of — deleting it on your device deletes it everywhere.
Delete individual photos
Open the Gallery, tap a shot, then Delete.
Delete everything
Open the Gallery and tap Delete all. This removes every stored shot. To also clear your settings — reference number, project and team tags, company logo, watermark — open Settings ▸ Data ▸ Reset settings.
Uninstalling
Uninstalling GeoProof removes the app's entire local storage: all photos, all settings. This cannot be undone, so download or share anything you want to keep first.
Photos you already exported
If you downloaded or shared a stamped photo, that copy lives wherever you put it — your gallery, a chat, an email, someone else's phone. GeoProof cannot reach those copies; you have to delete them where they are.
What about your purchase?
The PRO purchase is a record held by Google Play, not by us. If you want it removed, that is a Google Play matter. Note that deleting the purchase record means the app can no longer restore PRO for your account.
Address lookups
Requests to OpenStreetMap for address lookup and map tiles are not stored by us and are not linked to any identifier of yours. Any logs those services keep are governed by the OpenStreetMap Foundation's privacy policy.
Contact
If you believe we hold data about you and want it deleted, contact us through the support channel on the app's Google Play listing or via the support page, and we will respond.
